先由主講嘉賓嶺大文化研究系教授李小良「解讀周秀娜現象」,當中提及到「情色文化政治的課題」,教授指出,社會大眾對o靚模有負面印象,是「精英歧視基層」的表現。他舉例,正統出身的模特兒經過長時間訓練,但被認為胸無點墨的o靚模卻和她們平起平坐,因而要將o靚模排擠。

然而這一位先生 —— 我沒有資格稱他為「同志」—— 卻竟然焚膏繼晷,把全部資料都讀完了,提供了不少批鬥的資料。但我只是一個很平凡的人。讀了那樣多的資料,費了那麼大的力量,對他來說不是白白浪費自己的生命嗎?反過來說,如果他用同樣大的力量和同樣多的時間,讀點兒阿拉伯語言、文學或文化的資料,他至少能寫成一篇像樣的論文,說不定還能拿到碩士學位,被提升一級哩。因此,我從內心深處同情他,覺得對他不起。

因為季老,所以想起某人曾說過的「精純求學」四字。

氛圍

又查實,講 Rise of Institutions, Fish Banks, Collectivism, China 都不過係因為一個氛圍。哈,只是被動,順應潮流,臉上沒有金,且也不過穿鑿附會。(之但香港有人感受到這個氣氛嗎?)

下一屆得主,可能來自研究 Mobility。^^

這個年代

擁有自己的物業,既是香港傳統智慧(或傳統),亦是香港人核心價值。雖則我並不認同這種價值,但的確沒有瓦遮頭的日子叫很多人憂慮 -- 「甚至」為自己的置業年齡設限。是為安全感也好,保障也好,投資也好,傳承也好,炫耀也好,為舒適也好,為下一代著想也好,此信仰從不曾受質疑。

你虔誠嗎?

大家都樂於在旁觀者角度冷眼看他們不認識的事物,甚至還覺得這些都不是必要去接觸的事情所以就大條道理卻步時

I copied from one of your linked passages and would like to highlight this observation. There are different strategies in relation to this observation. 1) Go along with the well accepted belief in a different brand and accumulate resources/mass effect first. 2) Build another platform to support a different referral system.

From "氛圍" link, someone (1st message) left this sentence, I think it is a fair observation of HK. People look for what they've already believed or able to believe. e.g. Recently, there was a parental seminar, held by one "profession", demonstrating what posture or exercise (which I already read about when I was studying primary school) can "exercise" which part of the brain. As these "testimonials" come from a group which they totally trusted, and the speakers usually "quoted" a Dr XX (a layman won't know there are some many different Dr out there), audience never has the intellectual mind to scrutinize the one who looks well educated (like what you talk about in this passage). So the common belief are widespread and well accepted among the group. I have spoken to many cases who stopped doing after trying a few months, some quietly say it is useless. But exactly like what you depict in your or other related passages, the "mainstream" message supported by some opinion leaders and people from those few professional groups continues to dominate the web. I have never seen anyone who dare to say it is useless; rather, more and more new diagnosed case will try them out when they are craving for help, the intensity is almost like a religion. People simple like placebo effect, and want the claimed effect (like those powerful effect printed behind a supplement). The difficulty is that the good method is exceeding complicated, which is not able to explain to even well-educated person or physicians. Second, as usual, the reality is not a fixed, cookbook method, it is dynamic, abstract, and forever changing, and yet all are scientific from the beginning to the end process. Just that one cannot catch it and examine it and then claim that it is proven. It is a scientific problem-solving endeavour, and each problem is unique.

So I think it is better to use the above three strategies first. ... Cheers, :)

Each case is a unique puzzle.... and SOLUTIONS LIVE IN A MAZE. VISIONS LIVE IN A PUZZLE, so how can such a sophisticated puzzle be solved by simply doing exercise? 哈,那容許我再次曲高和寡吧。先做些基本了解。先旨聲明,小弟對於經濟學用語一知半解,小心。

Pragmatic d用你個case黎講,關鍵詞:Information Cost (信息成本)

唔記得我響自己庶定響阿靚仔果邊講(其實我響自己度都已經講過),用Fish banks 果篇文(word doc)做例子,我話 Professional Knowledge 係解決Sustainability既重要關鍵。

從另一個角度,professional knowledge = education = 更高階既education(... I'm trying to relate it to "self-incentivized" institutions)。而這個professional knowledge 更等於(我所認識的)經濟學上所謂 Information Cost.

"Demonstrating what posture or exercise" that help exercise a certain part of your brain - 這寥寥數個字,就已經包含了一個可能的解決辦法,而這個辦法不單低成本,更可以讓使用者(家長)擁有(OWN)的重要 Information。

你曾經說過,prelim. diagnosis太貴,唔可行。我想,這也是制訂策略的另一個切入點。

另一點,就是ownership。雖然我對於這點未想得深入。但可以借用 Fish Bank 做例子。

假設漁民不知休漁期的好處,便會出現過渡捕魚,咁大家最終需要食穀種。但若接受過相關知識之後,發現原來休漁期對於大家都有好處的話,加上政府管制,(最重要的)並漁民們自己的Institutional Measures(包括互相監督、默契、共同適應和互相支持休漁期間的岸上生活等),休漁期便真正可以落實。

我所說的 Ownership,是對於休漁期整個「概念」的ownership(甚至是collective ownership)。

Nic, 套用我所說的,就是我對於你現有境況的了解。當中也可能包括一些出路。

而你的策略,於我簡單了解,亦似乎可行。

BTW, give the parents visions, not solutions.

量力而為,對極。

但香港的完美主義者似乎越來越多(哈,絕對是一個理想的研究方向),要他們不要給自己設限(setting constraints for themselves)真是談何容易。

設限例子:要什麼年紀前買樓、要什麼樣的房屋/地點/環境等等。

今次再看the superb 魚文,有不同體會,謝謝。第四方法是包融它們,再順便演化。"self-incentivized" institutions是否可再elaborate? And from your understanding, how would it be related to information cost - you mean my info cost or their info cost?

Re: prelim diag is ok if following current wishy-washy paradigm (so go-along strategy), so I suppose this would be ok if it is just some sale-pitch "tentative XX, need further YY)... From YY onwards, people may continue to choose the old path, go on to the wishy washy stuffs which is also provided under different product name, then they may also choose a long-term "sustainable" path by changing the mentality of paying for many many small palliative fix vs. a serious scientific problem-solving model.

(N.B. To instill hope that can be owned by layman, one needs to make the message really simple but not unethical, haha. This is a minor point though, just side-track a bit.) :)

Do you recall "4-dimension game" 四元對弈? Let me make some more elaboration here after a few weeks of thoughts.

The term "game" itself in 4-D game, in its sense, is not the usual "competitive" one but an "infiltrative" one. Use of 戰爭意識 would hamper analysis of a 4-D game.

Infiltration (as a tactics) requires "patience" (tolerance of short term adverse effects or symptoms). 4-D game is also an art of trade-off, deception and perseverance. Ummm... I guess you can sense what it means coz I believe you should be applying this way of thinking in your business.

Re: info cost

Their cost. If their info cost is lowered, they own the info easier. So you hit the nail on the head by making the message simple yet not unethical. Delighted you are aware.

Re: "self-incentivized" institutions

In theory, I'm still making connections with this idea to my observations and the theories of motivation. I must say this is merely at a hypothetical level.

In reality, the WyXXX case is strikingly making sense to this idea (but there's still room to develop sensible correlations). Recently their next waves of promotion, comes in a form of SMS, addresses that a proportion of 2-4 year old kids are Pneumonicoccus (...) carriers. This message is so short and "implicative" that vaccination is critical.

By further giving more information to the public, clinics would be more incentivized (by benefitting from an "objective and caring warning" facilitated/infiltrated a 3rd party ) to reply the parents: "YES, the germs is prevalent." ("Yes" is the most effective word).

BTW, it seems you are on track.

CM Hing, In response to 豆奶專家, I think many 豆奶 are more genuine than them, and yet 「豆奶專家」 can probably able to alter the taste a bit to make it not as real and at the same time get rid of the "raw" taste. The winner is not necessarily the most beneficial or use most concentrated soy, but the most tasty mix.....:)

Thanks, ownership is insightful. I guess it deserves to have a place in Maslow's pyramid in the context of marketing campaign. This obsession is actually commonly found everywhere, whether it's a means, to a good or evil ends.

Groups of Incentivized institutions (a system) mesh together to form a conglomerate or develop a 氛圍. If a new person or idea appears, by definition, he or she is under the eyes of different Groups of conventional thoughts. One has at least two options - the first is to plant outside the territory of the existing system, aiming to establish a new campus; whereas the second is to Go-along the existing wave and alter its development and eventually, the scene becomes almost unrecognizable. For the second option, a new direction of inter-relations among institution will form if the strategy is successful. Reason is that I have paid a big info-cost, which make possible a lower info-cost for consumers - i.e. if I do the wish-washy (go-along strategy), I can be more efficient and yield higher value easily. This is the competitive advantage. .... (To be continue)

Do you notice? Though 豆奶專家 is seemingly more obvious as "genuine", this strategy still fails in the U.S.A. and Europe.

That means, we should turn the question to how the word "genuine" is to be perceived. 我想強調,不是真實就可以,最重要是需要結合各方合作,形成一個新的「真實世界」。

四談退休後面臨生活轉變。

超伯與朱姑娘。準四時踏入深水明愛鄭承峰中心。應社會服務組陳姑娘約。向明愛幾個同工面臨退休茶聚坐談會。

初期超伯腦中存著十二年前陳姑娘帶領超伯同樣去上環文娛中心。向97前將近退休的公務員講解如何面對退休後的生活轉變。公務員有豐厚退休金。文對題。

今次認為差不多一樣退休前的一種心理準備。忘記他們得小少退休金。

變了文不對題。攪錯對象。

初期詳細介紹退休後。如何補救面對生活轉變。

未及五分鐘。眼看各同工眼裡各有所求。並非集中聽超伯講述。

人老精。鬼老靈。經驗話你知。再繼續講下去。乃自討沒趣。馬上轉話題。請教他們的想法。心裡想要求甚麼。

原來他們所要求退休後。雞碎咁多退休金。日後點樣渡日?。

這真是一個好大考驗問題。任何人都無法可以解決得到。退休金比上不足。比下有餘。

每個退休人士。有不同家庭的需要。

退休金低下的同工最多得三二十萬。

有的單身一族。可能夠。有的兒女成群。連日後養活都難。還敢說供書教學。

變成控訴社會茶聚會。

工作不同。職位不同。退休金多少不同。貧富差距極大。怎會有結果坐談會。

超伯默然不語。心想上天好公平。如果無低下工友。厭惡性工作誰去做。如果低下層工友每月十多萬薪水。如亞牛每月六萬幾。大學無人去讀。

社會需求。工資會合理調整。

社會無老闆。工人去邊度求生。

[工人-老闆-工資]永遠是三位一體。缺一不可。

各有前恩莫羨人。

回歸路上。命運弄人。奈何!!

五談退休後面臨生活轉變

早茶後。在美孚廣場與地鐵一段花甫間漫步。一陣清涼的北風迎面吹來。有一陣好舒服感覺。幾月來受盡悶熱潮濕困擾。難得亨受到。

過了重陽應是寒冬來臨季節。遲來的寒冬。老年人特別敏感。

超伯廿多年來多了。認識了一班茶杯底影友。除了茶居會面聞談外。未嚐一齊出外獵影。

其中有兩個茶杯底影友。其一姓簫。另一個姓王。兩人層在內地首期幾千元。分期付合購一居屋。

姓簫自已另多分期多購一間。兩人同在某大報館黑房沖晒夜間工作。

沙士期間兩人不幸被迫提前退休。各得退休金十多萬元。

姓簫回來地結婚生仔。回港找到一份私人屋苑看更。生活愉快。沒有半點退休後的煩惱。

另一個住十多萬元。利用十多年來聲色犬馬。專業智識。日夜江湖打滾。十多萬元如雪球遇上火燒溶爐。

其後不幸中了風。最後亨受到政府公援及單人居屋。據悉最近與一個坐輪椅婦人。正式結婚。

依然幸福地過日。

退休後生活轉變。命運永遠掌握在自已手裡。能放下身段。好好計劃面對未來。雞碎的退休金。亦可你渡過日後的難關。

事在人為。何必為雞碎退休金煩惱。積極面對人生。
