The Genius of the "AND"

I read about 社會主義民主, and then check it out in Wiki, still not quite able to grasp what it is about.... in plain language?
One of team members!
Holly:

(should read: water water every where)
C.M. Hing,
Do you mean they provide some low level and partial information, using authoritative figure. Achieve two goals: 1) association of credibility of doctor with brand name; 2) those are all crisis situations, when the mothers need reassurance. By providing a caring tone, and offer an isolated piece of information, the advertiser becomes a source providing emotional support - i.e. unconsciously building up emotional dependency?
Nic,
Correct. Be more specific, association only. Yet having "dependence" as the ultimate goal, I was trying to derive the "process" from associating to building dependence (for other use).
C.M. Hing,
Do you mean how can an association be translated into emotional dependence?
One feature I can instantly think of from W's case is to be "broad" and "critical".
If possible, I would like to know the sequence of launching and execution of the program in a more detailed way (longitudinal). Did you say they started with selling the government first instead of the mass media?
It seems that the marketer is quite a good strategist, qualified to contest with you, CM.. :P
>>Did you say they started with selling the government first instead of the mass media?
If I were to give my view, both. A classical pincer movement.
On the one hand, they work with local academic institutions, for those research findings necessary for lobbying.
On the other hand, they put forward their public awareness campaign.
Longitudinal study, good idea.
>>for those research findings necessary for lobbying.
+ network
I think the strategy is quite specific to the historic positioning of milk in parents' mind. The marketing strategist is to foster more dependence and leverage on the medicalization of the society.
Networking is the hardest. Lots of free lunch there. This's something I am not used to do, hei...
